JCA Day30 Puppet Day!

Carter does a SUPER job holding the flag!
We worked with beads and pipe cleaners today.
Doing what????
Following instructions and making patterns!
Our class mascot, Boots, wandered back onto the playground and swang a little with Kimberly.
Then he enjoyed a little "loving" from Logan, Hannah R. and Kimberly.
Brady found ANOTHER caterpillar during recess today!
Today the students had vision testing..........
AND hearing testing........
One of our big projects of the day were puppets on sticks! These puppets were the dad and two brothers from the Lost Son story of the week.
It is the parable of the prodigal son.
The students are going to go home and tell their parents the story of the Lost Son.... just in case they don't already know!
The younger brother took the money and RAN!
In the end the father welcomed him home, threw him a party, and forgave him!
Here we have a class clown!
And here is another one!
And here are a bunch of clowns! .......Clown puppets that is!
Kimberly gets to take Henrietta home for the weekend!!!

We also made another set of puppets today. We made Johnny Appleseed puppets and used brown paper sacks. They turned out really good, too!
Then, Ms. Francis came today, and we sang some new songs that were lots of fun!

This week, altho busy, has been a bit trying. We have had five students out at different times, plus Ms. Corrina and Miss Bailie all out with fever, etc. We are praying, using hand sanitizer several times throughout the day, and washing our hands to the Happy Birthday song like Dustin told us to. We also spray the furniture, etc, down every evening/morning with Lysol.
We all need to be cautious, drink water, and stay home if we get sick.
Be wise!!!
Have a fun, great, restful weekend!
