Today was an exciting day! We made a trip to the Hobbs Public Library. To my surprise, several of the students already had their own library cards!
The ladies read several stories to us, performed the cutest puppet play (my pictures turned out too dark), and also showed us a film strip.
The stories were great, and then we were able to check out books, too!
Then, we had fun outside, too!
We need one of these at our own playground!
This afternoon, Cigi and Abby showed up. Cigi is speaking at church this weekend, and she needed our help with her sermon!!! We aren't really sure how it's going to turn out, but she said she would show it to us once she edits it........
We started memorizing a new scripture today.......... and then, heard the story of Rack, Shack, and Bennie....the three guys in the firey furnace! They didn't even smell like smoke!
We discovered more words that start with the letter "L".....and we discussed weather!

very cool. I remember going to the library in Lubbock and it was a big deal. great job as usual Crill. I mean Mrs. Allen!
