Henrietta had a great time with Kimberly this weekend! They were very busy, but best of all...
Henrietta came back to school with a new t-shirt that has a rainbow on it!
She has to be the best-dressed horse mascot anywhere around!!!
Each day, Ms. Corrina helps the kids practice their star words. They are coming right along in being able to identify these frequently used words!
Several students are earning lots of stars on our ring chart!!! Way to go!
This week we are learning about the letter "B". Therefore, our Bible story revolves around "B" too.......Baptism! Today we learned about John the Baptist...he lived in the desert, his clothes were made from camel's hair, and he ate locust and honey.
So......we ate locust and honey, too!!!! Well, not really locust. We ate pretzels and honey!
We also learned that John the Baptist is who baptized Jesus!
This week we are learning how to write the number "8".
We counted out 8 cubes, and then we used pipe cleaners to make the number "8".
Sadie came for PE today, and we were ALL very glad to see her!
One of the best things that happened today: we FINALLY were able to empty our jar with the cotton balls (since the beginning of the year)! All along, we have planned that whenever we were able to empty the cotton balls, we would have a pizza party! So.......tomorrow is the day!
This is really and truly a SILENT scream......I know you probably don't believe me, but it's true!
No noise was coming out of those mouths!!!
And there is Ms. Corrina in the background showing that we took the last two cotton balls out of the jar. Now we start over. We are trying to decide what kind of party we might have next time..........banana split party??????? (I love banana splits........Do kindergarteners like banana splits???)

No...they do not like banana splits! But I'm sure they would like ice cream like with sprinkles and other fun stuff like that. : )
