Eyes, Fire, Cornfield, Nests, Tacos, Graphs

This week started with the Lions' Club coming to JCA
to conduct an eye screening on each student!


Then, the Knowles Fire Department visited us....
We learned all about their brand new fire truck....
They sprayed water for us....
And.....we ALL got fire hats!!!


1st thru 5th took a field trip.....
to the CORNFIELD MAIZE in Lubbock!!!
Look what the parents were doing while their kids were on the cow train!
You can't turn your back for even a second!
Ms. Shelley and her kids on the cow train.....
The hayride was great!
We all picked a pumpkin!
FUN DAY!

This week Ms. Michelle's class learned about the letter "T".....
Tacos, tamales, turtles.......

Ms. Shelley's class worked on the letters "st"....
so they built neSTs!!!


Ms. Maggi's 2nd/3rd graders learned about graphs.....
So did Socks!

We also learned that we need to live at peace with one another as much as possible!!!

JCA--Os, Magnets, Insects, & Concrete!!!

Ms. Shelley's class learned about magnets.....

EVERY FRIDAY IS POWER UP!
WE ARE PUMPED UP.........HUUUH!!!!


On Saturday......
The concrete came!!!
It was a BIG job!
And it looks AWESOME!!!
Jeremy's crew from Seminole.....
All of them are Christians....
And they all donated their time in laying the concrete for JCA!!
They said they were "working for the Lord today!"
A heartfelt thanks goes out to them and to Brad and James as well!!!
James drove the concrete truck!
