JCA Grandparents' Day Sept. 11th

Today was Grandparents' Day, but before we made it to the afternoon for that celebration, we celebrated the letter "A" with a little aaaaapple snack!
Ms. Corrina and Miss Bailie went to Ruidoso last weekend and brought back FRESH apples off an apple tree!
We melted butter, cut up apples, added brown sugar and cinnamon....simmer............
YUMMY!
Hot.......sweet........
cinnamony (is that a word???)... Delicious!
FINALLY, it was time for our guests......our grandparents and even some great grandparents!
We sang songs........
and played games.......
there were many different activities.........
lots of things to do.........
draw and color............
string beads.........
snap cubes together........
build with blocks......
do a little lacing.......
A great time was had by all. I want to thank ALL of you that were able to attend our celebration today. Grandparents are such an important part of our family! Thank you for all you do!
And thank you to Janeece Colon for bringing such wonderful snacks and punch for all of us!
And last, but not least, Carter gets to take Henrietta home for the WEEKEND! YEA!!!

This blog is great! I love being able to follow my child's day without actually being there all the time. I enjoy seeing her smiling face as she learns and has lots of fun doing it!
Thanks! Keep up the great work!
