JCA Day 15: PAINTING!!!

Ms. Corrina and I lost our minds today and decided to let the kids paint!
The last two weeks, we have talked ALOT about rainbows!
So, it only seemed natural that they should try their hand at painting rainbows... in the right color order, of course!
There was no pattern to follow on their paper. It was "free hand."
The only stipulation was that they had to follow the rainbow color order.
A good time was had by all!!! (They did a great job!)
Hannah M. has a baby bird!!!
Great fun on the playground!
Moving sand from one place to another!
Henrietta got to go home with Emilia for the weekend! Yea!

Day 15 was another wonderful day at JCA. We continued to practice our "e" and reviewed the "i" and "u" as well. We practiced the numbers 2 and 3 again.....by the way.....we are writing really great! We have learned about proper writing posture. That means that our legs and feet are under the desk, our left hand is holding our paper still, and our paper is slanted.
We finished our Noah's Ark study by putting four events that happened in the story in sequential order.
We also worked on our addresses and phone numbers and made a mobile.
Ms. Frances came again today......"sounded" fun!
Next week, a new letter!!!!!!
Have a great weekend everybody!
