A Tooty Ta

A Tooty Ta A Tooty Ta A Tooty Ta Ta.......Thumbs up, elbows back, feet apart, knees together, bottoms up, tongue out, eyes shut, turn around! We love it! You should join us sometime!

Today, we practiced the letter "i" again. We each had two pretzels. We kept one the original size and broke the other in half. We used the original one for the long part of the "I" and broke the other one in half to make the hat and shoes for the capital "I". We also made a lower case "i" out of a pretzel. (We ate the extras!)
We used the color blue today; we worked on our first graph in math, and also practiced numbers 1, 2, 3, and 4! We counted chips and made a chart with the chips for numbers 1 through 10. We counted by tens, too!
We reviewed the Bible story from yesterday about Adam, Eve, and the serpent. Ms. Corrina read to us while Ms. Crill cut out a tree, apple, and snake from construction paper to go along with the story. We sang about the days of the week and the months of the year.
We learned about the United States of America and colored a map of it. We talked about the directions: North, South, East, West. We learned that we are Americans, and that God loves not only Americans, but everybody!
Because we learned that "i" says "i" as in ice cream......we made an ice cream cone using pink construction paper torn into mosaic pieces and glued to the top of an ice cream cone.
The girls had computer time, while the boys had center time. Tomorrow we will switch. And then, there was PE with Miss Sadie and Mr. Clay.
We were really busy, but it was a super day!

I'm LOVING the emails & blogs. Keep up the good, hard work. I know it's not easy, but it's SO worth it. You've been called to do great things, and I'm so grateful that you answered! Love, Hannah's Mom
