We had a science/art project today!
We needed boiling water.....hot, hot, hot!!!
Borax detergent!
Wide-mouth jars with pipe cleaner snowflakes....
So...we put 4 Tablespoons of borax.....
Dissolved in a jar almost full of hot, hot, hot water.....
We had to stir......
And dissolve MOST of the Borax....
However, some Borax needed to be on the bottom of the jar.....
Our "snowflake" was tied to a pencil....
Which laid on top of the jar...
Everybody had a turn putting in the Borax and stirring.....
After 24 hours, we should have crystals on our snowflakes!!!
It was time for our hamburger party and "french fries on Friday!"
SILENT SCREAM!!!
Miss Vickie brought all our goodies for us!!!
We ALL got a prize!! YEA!!!
