What an INCREDIBLE week at JCA!
We had a FIRST EVER Scholastic Book Fair!!
Ms. Paula organized it all for us!
We had a GRAND day.... the students
invited someone GRAND in their life to come join them for a pizza lunch
and then ..... SHOP!!!!
Over $1000 in Scholastic Books was raised for our JCA LIBRARY!
Simply AMAZING!
Thanks to everyone who participated!
Plus.......you all wound up with some AWESOME Christmas gifts!
A VERY EXCITING DAY!
It was BRANDING DAY at JCA!
Pastor Ty, Clay & Cigi branded Ty's calves!
The kids had a bird's eye view of what exactly happens when
it's time to brand......
Cigi roped and drug the calves to the "fire"......
Clay held them while Ty branded, vaccinated, castrated, and wormed them...
(LOTS of science-type things to talk about there!!!)
I would say that this kind of thing doesn't happen at
EVERY school in Lea County!
H is for Horse!!!
This week the Kinder class learned and practiced the letter H!
Then.......they went to the barn!!
All the kids got to brush and RIDE a horse!
(The batteries on our camera died...so sorry!)
Another thing that doesn't happen at every school...
Only JCA!!!
We have POWER UP every Friday morning....
This week we learned how God's word
stands FOREVER!!!
We played a game called Infinity & Beyond...
Like the figure 8 has no beginning nor end...
God's word will never end or go away!!!
The grass may wither and the flower may fade...
but God's word will stand forever! Is. 40:8
SUPER WEEK!!!!
