WOW! A VERY SPECIAL DAY!!!
All week we have discussed the Upper Room.......how Jesus told
his disciples to meet him there. First, He washed their feet.....
Then, they broke bread together.
He explained that the bread represented his body
and how it was broken for us!
How He WILLINGLY did this for us!
Then, Jesus and the disciples drank wine together...
which represented his blood He shed for us on the cross.
We learned that this is a very reverent time which means
that we honor and respect Jesus for dying on the cross
for our salvation...and everything that salvation means.
We created a picture of the Upper Room, too!
It was called The Last Supper.
We also painted t-shirts with our handprints!
So.....each t-shirt has everyone's handprint who attends JCA kindergarten!!!
It was lots of fun!......Really, it was!
Paint was everywhere!....sorry, parents!
Handprints on the front.......and the back, as well!
We will wear them to La Fiesta next week!
We did have a chance for some of our centers this week, too.....
Computer time......our FAVORITE!
A missing numbers game.......
Another game.....rolling dice and adding the numbers up.....
And.....handwriting practice!
Only 2 weeks left of this school year!!!
CANNOT believe it!
