JCA Cinco de Mayo and Silly Sock Day!!!

Just about the first thing we did today was to gather around the plans for the
new building and pray over it....with "child-like faith."
We thanked God for the provision for the vision!
We wore our hand-print shirts today and SILLY socks!!!
Tristan had socks EVERYWHERE!!!

Hannah M. got stuck!!!
(But she didn't want out!)
We planted tomato plants and pepper plants today to take home with us.
First, we had to put some rocks in the bottom of our pots.
Then, we put in the potting soil.....and then......our plants!!!
Thank you Hannah M's parents for the plants, pots, and soil!

Since it was Cinco de Mayo.........we went to La Fiesta to eat!
These are just some of our families.....
There were close to 40 people there today!!!
IT WAS YUMMY!
THANK YOU LA FIESTA!!
(and thank you Tristan's grandma for donating for the kids' food!)

We played a game called Steal the Sombrero......
You didn't want anyone to get your sombrero off your back!
BRADY was the WINNER!!!

We had a PINATA!!!
It was hard to hit blindfolded!
We tried and tried......
THEN......It BROKE!
YAY!!! CANDY!!!

We talked about King Xerxes today and Queen Esther.....
and how she saved her people from being killed
because she was courageous and brave to talk to the King!

JCA Spirit Day tomorrow!!!!
