JCA Kindergarten GRADUATION!!!!

We all had a hard time believing that today was actually

Kindergarten Graduation!!!

We started our day with our pledges,

and Ms. Heather prayed for us......

It was a special, but tough day for the teachers!!! (tear)

Individual awards were passed out and.....

we recited ALL 20 SCRIPTURES we've learned this year!!!!

It was a PROUD moment.......

when each student received their DIPLOMA!!!

AND THEN WE THREW OUR CAPS IN THE AIR!!!

WOOOO HOOOO!!!

Time to PARTYYYYYYY!!!

A HISTORIC Day!

JCA KENDALL'S AND KFD/HFD!!!

Today, we went to Kendall's Meat Market!!!

We ate a YUMMY lunch.....

And drew for the ribeye raffle tickets!

Tristan's grandmother, Debbie Capps, won 1st and 20 ribeye steaks!

Brady's grandmother, Maggie Bean, won 2nd and 12 ribeye steaks!

And Marie Washburn won 3rd and 8 ribeye steaks!!!

THANKS Kendall's for a GREAT fundraiser!!!

Then, we headed out to Knowles Fire Department!

This truck is called "The Big Dog".....

Notice how tall the tires are!!!

As tall as WE are!!!

This is one of the trucks they use for grass fires.

We all got HATS!!!

And SNACKS!!!

Oh my goodness! We got to hold the hose.....

and shoot the water!

It was HEAVY......

and FORCEFUL!!!!

TOO MUCH.......

FUN!!!

Next, we went to visit the Hobbs Fire Department......

Station 3

We each got INSIDE the BIG truck!

Checking out one of the ambulances.

It only took ONE MINUTE (actually a little less) for this firefighter

to get dressed in his gear!

These are scissors used for the Jaws of Life to cut people out of their cars.

Before we left there, it got VERY exciting!

They had an ambulance call come in.......

Two of the men loaded up in the first ambulance and took off......

LIGHTS and SIRENS!

Then, they had to take off in the next ambulance, too!

LIGHTS AND SIRENS!

They all left!

We took the opportunity to circle up, grab hands, and pray for the people

in the accident!

God is good!

JCA A Trip to the Dairy!!!!!

Today we went to Rocky Top Dairy!!!

Meet Candy.......the cow!

She was so great to let us sit on her and pet her!

Bill Sierson is in this picture.....He is the manager of Rocky Top....

Cute calf! Less than 3 months old.

We took a hay/trailer ride around the whole dairy!

This is where they milk the cows.

They step on, rotate around while being milked, and then back off.

Bill gave us "dairy" treats.....

White and chocolate milk, gogurt, and string cheese!
