Our first day for 2010!!!
Scooter was there to welcome each kiddo!
Then we met each other......with REAL ICE for the icebreaker!!!
Ms. Maggi's multi-level class....... they are hard at it!!!
Ms. Shelley's 1st grade class......they all brought leaves to school!
Ms. Michelle's Kinder class learning about the days of creation!
PE with Sadie and Hunter.....everybody's favorite!
And music with Ms. Jolene!!!
Chief McPeters conducted our first fire drill of the year!
We ended the week with a picnic.....
at Del Norte Park!
LOTS of GREAT playground equipment!
SUPER FUN time had by all!!!
A FANTASTIC week!!!
We also had a very first POWER UP time this week on Friday morning
(comparable to Chapel..just a much cooler name!).
We sang songs, learned about Jesus' family...his brothers, his cousin John the Baptist, his parents Mary & Joseph.....and we learned about our own families and how God makes each family unique and special........and we learned that we belong to the JCA Family, and that we will get to know each other VERY well this year........and we learned that we are all a part of a bigger family: the family of God!!!
We played a game trying to see how many "family members" we could fit into hoola hoops!
And.....we prayed together!!!
Each class also learned a Bible story and scripture this week!
