Manna Outreach, Christmas parties and program!

We went on a field trip and had the privilege of visiting Manna Outreach in Hobbs.

We were SO impressed with this ministry.

They provide three meals a day 365 days a year,

as well as, a place to stay for those who are homeless!

This week the multi-level class created Nativity Scenes....

The 1st graders enjoyed their Christmas party......

And the Kindergarteners made GINGERBREAD HOUSES!

We ended our week with an INCREDIBLE Christmas program!

The kids did a superb job, and it was enjoyed by

parents and grandparents alike!

Last week was a Fun-Filled week!

4th & 5th graders researched historical missionaries...

and made posters!

On Friday, we had a great Power Up time!

We reviewed the story of Jesus' birth....

And played a game called "Follow the Star."

We LOVE our songs at Power Up!!!

Thanksgiving Program

Our Thanksgiving Program was SO MUCH FUN!!

The kids presented a skit:

"Uh Oh......Where's the Turkey?"

(written & directed by Ms. Corrina)

Then each class performed songs they have learned in music class...

(Directed by Ms. Bradey)

We had a full house of parents, grandparents, and friends!

Miss Olivia sang a SOLO!

BEAUTIFUL job!!!

Then....it was on to each classroom for food......YUM!

It was a wonderful day......

and a great way to celebrate our thankfulness to God!!!

He is good.....ALL the time!
