Our first week after Christmas break was very FULL!!!

This week at Power Up we talked about the fact that God
sees and knows what is in our hearts.
We are born with a sin nature..... We need to make
good choices to keep good things in our hearts!
God shines His light into our hearts!
We need to love one another and treat others
the way we want to be treated!

2nd & 3rd graders experiment with tasting roots, stems, leaves, & fruits!
Not everything tasted great!
But it was LOTS of fun.....
while learning how plants are used for food!!!

There were straight As, all Bs, and A/B honor roll awards....
as well as Hard Workers and Perfect Attendance!!!!
And then JCA sang "Hug Another Neck"!!!
The classes are also working on the Fruits of the Spirit...
Gal. 5:22-23
"But the fruits of the Spirit are love, joy, peace, patience, kindness,
goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, & self-control.
Against such things there is no law."
We are studying one "fruit" per week and are learning that
as we learn more about God, these fruits influence and
impact our lives......
These fruits go hand in hand with us continuing to learn
about good behavior, good manners, and right choices!
